Growfol - Create high quality LinkedIn content with AI
Meet Devansh Bhushan.
Devansh is a 24 year old software graduate from a small town in India. Currently he works 9-5 as a software developer at Wingify, which is an AB testing tool. Devansh works remotely from Punjab as the company is based in Delhi.
Growing up in a middle class family with his mother being a housewife and father doing government-job, he has no business background of any form.
Never the less he is the founder of Growfol. A tool to create high quality LinkedIn content with AI.
Devansh Bhushan - Founder of Growfol
The story told by Devansh Bhushan
I have been a decent student all my life, and got an average paying job (less than $1000 a month) straight after graduating too. But after about a year of 9-5, I felt something was missing in my life.
I couldn’t imagine doing the same job, or any job for that matter after 10 years, or even 5. So that’s when I decided to make products alongside managing 9-5.
I normally have 100 hour work weeks or more, managing my job and startup. But in all honesty I haven’t enjoyed working as much as I have in the last 5-6 months, working on my own ideas and executing and learning along the way. I have usual daydreaming scenarios sometimes too, where I dream of driving a lambo with my family in the streets of Dubai one day 😛.
I guess it all starts with a single step and it’s all worth it eventually.
So Growfol is that single step which I am onto currently.
Previous products
I once made a project called thestartupmonks.com. It was a Indian startup repository kinda thing and a newsletter platform. My main aim was to learn to code projects. I succeeded in this part, although the project is dead with no visitors.
I plan to pivot it into an indie tools directory with a little twist soon.
Growfol - my current product
Coming to my first serious product, Growfol. It’s a content creation and management tool for LinkedIn creators to ease their content creation process. It boasts of multiple useful features like a comprehensive editor, post preview, 100+ post and hook templates.
It is a subscription based business model offering montly, yearly, and lifetime deals.
Growfol user interface
I have received very positive feedback from the users. It’s proven to be a useful tool for anyone looking to write content on LinkedIn. Users have been using it to schedule days of content before-hand to maintain consistency in posting content.
Marketing
I started writing the first line of code in January 2024, and launched in late June 2024. It took around 2.5 months to get to 100 users, but this is without any expertise in marketing, since I am a coder and have no prior experience in marketing.
The main struggle for me till now has been marketing the product to the right audience. It has a lot of features like some similar products in the market and even better feedback, but yet I am still figuring out how to get Growfol to be seen by the masses.
I have used only free channels to market it for now, like reddit, X, and LinkedIn;
Below one of my posts on X that also got some fairly good traction:
That's it. This is the post 🥳 #buildinpublic

Growfol in numbers
Below you’ll see the Google Analytics stats for the Growfol website covering June - August 2024.
Google Analytics for Growfol
Currently Growfol has a total of 12 paying customers and in total has generated 393 USD in revenue.
What is next?
I have several initiaties planned on how to grow from here. I’m launching on Product Hunt next week (probably before this story is published), I’m working on growing my personal brand on LinkedIn, and I’m looking into starting a blog and offering free tools for SEO.
